Bespoke staircase manufacturer, Multi Turn, enlisted the help of Redwood to supply a high-end wood finishing product for their upcoming project \u2013 to develop a grand staircase in the entrance hall at one of Chartridge Developments&#8217; luxury new builds in Buckinghamshire.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed staircase was intended by the project&#8217;s architects to be a statement piece; something that would blend seamlessly with the high-end, modern design of the rest of the home.<\/p>\n<p>Multi Turn went for maximum impact, sourcing redwood pine for the treads and risers and contrasting stained oak for the handrails and newel caps.<\/p>\n<p>To help seal the timber and give a smooth base for top coats to be applied straight to, we recommended a particular wood primer from our Hesse Lignal range because of its combination of durability and translucency. It provides peak scuff resistance and ease of maintenance, while allowing the grain of the timber to really sing out.<\/p>\n<p>We think the results speak for themselves!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
